URGENT statement of the European Communist Action in Solidarity with TKP

The European Communist Action condemns the brutal repression and mass arrests of demonstrators, journalists, etc., including members and cadres of the Communist Party of Turkey, who oppose the unacceptable actions of the Turkish state in relation to arresting and removing from office the elected mayors in Istanbul, which means violation of right to vote and to be elected. These choices are in service to the political interests of the ruling AKP government and highlight its blatant disregard for any and all democratic processes.

The EU, NATO and the USA, which have made Turkish capital their strategic partner for their dangerous war-mongering plans, are making a concerted effort to exploit the Erdoğan government's repressive style of rule to advance their own goals and interests.

It is unacceptable that government circles try to slander the justified protests of the Turkish people.

We express our full solidarity with the Communist Party of Turkey, its members and cadres and the other arrested people and demand their immediate release and the dropping of all charges against them. We demand that the right of the Turkish people to free political and trade union activity is guaranteed.

Declaración URGENTE de la Acción Comunista Europea en solidaridad con el TKP

 
La Acción Comunista Europea condena la represión brutal y las detenciones masivas de manifestantes, periodistas, etc., incluyendo a miembros y cuadros del Partido Comunista de Turquía, que se opone a las acciones inaceptables del estado turco en relación a la detención y destitución de los alcaldes elegidos en Estambul, lo que implica una violación del derecho de voto y a ser elegido. Estas decisiones sirven a los intereses políticos del gobierno del AKP y resaltan su flagrante menosprecio por cualesquiera procesos democráticos.
La UE, la OTAN y los EE.UU., que han hecho del capital turco un socio estratégico de sus peligrosos planes belicistas, están haciendo esfuerzos concertados para explotar el estilo gubernamental represivo del gobierno de Erdoğan para impulsar sus propios fines e intereses.
Es inaceptable que los círculos de gobierno intenten difamar las protestas justificadas del pueblo turco.
Expresamos nuestra plena solidaridad con el Partido Comunista de Turquía, con sus miembros y cuadros y con los demás detenidos, y exigimos su puesta en libertad inmediata y la retirada de todos los cargos contra ellos. Exigimos que se garantice el derecho del pueblo turco a la actividad política y sindical libre.

Επείγουσα ανακοίνωση της ΕΚΔ σε αλληλεγγύη με το ΤΚΡ

 

Η Ευρωπαϊκή Κομμουνιστική Δράση καταδικάζει τη βάναυση καταστολή και τις μαζικές συλλήψεις διαδηλωτών, δημοσιογράφων κ.α, συμπεριλαμβανομένων μελών και στελεχών του Κομμουνιστικού Κόμματος Τουρκίας, που αντιτίθενται στις απαράδεκτες ενέργειες του Τουρκικού κράτους σε σχέση με τη σύλληψη και την απομάκρυνση εκλεγμένων δημάρχων στην Κωνσταντινούπολη. Αυτές οι επιλογές εξυπηρετούν τα πολιτικά συμφέροντα της κυβέρνησης του ΑΚΡ και υπογραμμίζουν την κατάφωρη περιφρόνησή της για όλες τις δημοκρατικές διαδικασίες».

Η ανακοίνωση συνεχίζει αναφέροντας πως «Η ΕΕ, το ΝΑΤΟ και οι ΗΠΑ, που έχουν κάνει το τουρκικό κεφάλαιο στρατηγικό τους εταίρο για τα επικίνδυνα πολεμικά σχέδια τους, καταβάλλουν συντονισμένη προσπάθεια να εκμεταλλευτούν τις κατασταλτικές μεθόδους της κυβέρνησης Ερντογάν για να προωθήσουν τους δικούς τους στόχους και συμφέροντα.

Είναι απαράδεκτο να προσπαθούν κυβερνητικοί κύκλοι να συκοφαντούν τις δικαιολογημένες διαμαρτυρίες του Τουρκικού λαού.

Εκφράζουμε την πλήρη αλληλεγγύη μας προς το Κομμουνιστικό Κόμμα Τουρκίας, τα μέλη και τα στελέχη του και τους άλλους συλληφθέντες και απαιτούμε την άμεση απελευθέρωσή τους και την άρση όλων των κατηγοριών σε βάρος τους. Απαιτούμε να κατοχυρωθεί το δικαίωμα του Τουρκικού λαού στην ελεύθερη πολιτική και συνδικαλιστική δράση.
